Annie Breitling has long been a leader in the acting community in the Dallas metroplex. She began theater in middle school. She has won numerous acting awards including Best Actress.  Her favorite roles include Millie in “Picnic” and Juliet in “Romeo and Juliet.”

From 2009-2010, Annie taught acting classes at Christian Educators Resource Center in Rowlett, Texas.  While there, she directed “Clowns’ Play” and “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe", with children ages 5-18.

In 2010, Annie Breitling founded and became President of Children’s Christian Theater in Garland. Children’s Christian Theater has since changed it's name to Breitling Youth Theater. The theater's first show, in Spring 2010, was Peter Pan, which Annie wrote the script for. Since then, she has directed Anne of Green Gables, It's a Wonderful Life, Cheaper by the Dozen, and The Three Musketeers Unplugged, which she co-wrote with her wonderful Assistant Director, Alice Frederick (see below). She teamed up with Alice again to write, "Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus!"  Links to photos of these plays can be found at the top of each page on this website.

Breitling has five children of her own, and her love of children combined with her love of theater has created a balance that cannot be matched!

Annie Breitling
Assistant Director/Author
Alice Frederick is a wonderful mother of two boys. This is her 6th production to help Ms. Annie with and the 5th one to do costumes. She has been a blessing to our theater and we would definitely not be the same without her! She has a knack for shopping thrift stores and making props out of household items! Alice home schools her two boys and likes to watch old movies with them.
Jerry Walker has been volunteering, building sets for Breitling Youth Theater/CCT for a year now. This is his 5th show. He has helped out with the Concession Stand, set changes, prop building, and helping to keep things running smoothly during the show. He is an invaluable asset. Jerry has one son, who participated in Clown’s Play the summer of 2011. Jerry lives in Garland, enjoys helping people and is a volunteer with Meals on Wheels. He has worked in home remodeling and restoration for over 10 years now and his former contractor in Florida boasts of his character as being honest, reliable, on-time, and a hard worker that customers were always happy with.
