Other Classes Information
Auditions will be cold readings. That means that no child has seen the script previously. Students will be asked to read different parts with a group that is reading the other parts. Students do not have to prepare in advance. If your child does not read yet or has trouble reading, that is fine. Annie will give them a line to say and how to say it and they will repeat it back to her. Auditions are easy going and fun! While a child is not auditioning, they are either watching the movie of the show we are going to perform, playing theater games, or going over the part they are going to read for. Breitling Youth Theater takes casting very seriously and we want to make the best decision(s) for your child(ren) so they can succeed! Sometimes children get smaller parts and sometimes larger parts. It is all a matter of timing, training, part availability, and your child's willingness to work on their part outside of classtime, memorizing their lines. Registration and payment is due at the time of the first audition. If your child is wanting to come to one class and 'try" it out, please contact Annie ahead of time. If you have any questions, please feel free to email.
